I pretty much collect anything vintage - but I have a real love for vintage kitchen canisters! My Husband has had to build me a special shelf to display them on!

Without doubt the super awesome girls I get to train with every week and the killer training session Miss Cherry inflicts on us. How long have you been skating? I started skating as a child in bad bad Bankstown,was a limbo champion-haha had a 20 year break now back on quads like the good ol'days and loving it!

If you were a Spidey Sense, what sense would you be? I got no sense! That's why I play Roller Derby. Rolling Stones or The Beatles? I couldn't possibly choose. I think they both suck equally. 	Brandy Snaps How did you choose your derby name? I chose my derby name because Brandy is my nickname and guess what sometimes I do snap! If a movie was made about you, who would play you? In a movie of my life I would be played by Reese Witherspoon (sad, i know but too many others have taken Drew B!) What would I find in your refrigerator right now? In my fridge right now? Too much stuff – but always, always chocolate. If you could live in any home on a television series, which would it be? Like most girls my age I wanted to live in the Brady house – especially in the groovy den Greg got to move into when Mike gave up his study. I am one of three girls and my sisters and I always wanted to beMarcia, Marcia, Marcia. Unfortunately being in the middle I usually had to be boring Jan! Your biggest derby supporter/fan? My hubby and two kids. That might change if I get badly injured – so here’s to not breaking my nose first bout.

	Bren Dream car to own? The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo... with shag carpet and a disco ball... the whole sha-bang. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? The abilty to snap my fingers and have food appear! I would never have to cook and i'd never have an argument about what to make... ever again. What makes you angry? P platers.. no offence to anyone reading this. It just ticks me right off when you get the ones that think they're gods gift to driving and give the rest a bad name... speeding and darting in and out of lanes... cutting me off and then slamming the brakes on to be more specific. I showed her with my ninja hand guestures! How young were you when you got your first skates, and what were they like? I can't remember my exact age, but i did have the ones you had to strap to your shoes, then i progressed to the old skool white high tops. I used to go to skateplus at Mt Druitt in the late 90's every friday nite. What kind of pet do you have? I have 3 huskies, Roxy (black&white), Connan (white) and Loki (brown). They're my furry children! They never bark and have the most awsome personalities.

HIP CHECK (ONLY ONLE I KNOW HOW TO DO AT THE MOMENT) Fave Motto? IF YOU CAN’T BE GOOD THEN BE GOOD AT IT!!!! Your Theme Song? BECAUSE I CAN (PINK) Your biggest derby supporter/fan? MY MUM

	Dolores Blaze 12 How did you choose your Derby name? My name was taken from one of my favourite books, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. I've always loved it and always loved the name Dolores Haze, so I thought why not toughen it up and so I became Dolores Blaze #12! And I chose number 12 because that's how old she is at the beginning of the book. How long have you been skating? I only started skating in October 2009 for the first time ever! So really I am still pretty new to derby, but I am getting there. Sort of... If you could live in any home on a television series, which would it be? I would live on the USS Enterprise NCC-1701! Does that even count as a house? What's the best concert you have been to? THE CURE! Hands down. They are my most favourite band in the world. Robert Smith is God. So to be right at the very front with the whole band meters away was the best day of my life. I'm such a sad fangirl I still own a bit of tape off the set list. What do you want to be when you grown up? Well once I get my acceptance letter to Hogwarts which seems to be lost in the owl mail and finish school... possibly an Auror? Or maybe a P.I. Or an actor who gets to play a private investigating witch in a film.

	Elleter Skelter What would I find in your refrigerator right now? A lot of good intentions... If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be? 'What was she thinking?' What makes you angry? Idiots (especially when I'm driving!!) If a movie was made about you, who would play you? Drew Barrymore because she rocks!! (and I might have a bit of a girl crush on her) Your biggest derby supporter/fan? My super-husband Daniel. He flies solo twice a week to take care of our 4 kids so I can train - now that's commitment!! Favourite perfume? Karma by Lush

	Helen Ryan What did you want to be when you grew up? When I was a kid I wanted to be an obstetrician.....bring all the new babies into the world...then somewhere along the way my interests turned to criminals. Haha How did you come across WSR? I decided I needed to meet people and thought a hobby would be the best way. I'm not a prissy proper girl...so dancing classes were out...and I considered joining a gym,....but i dont like having to move (see how well thats worked out for me!) and then I thought i'd do roller skating lessons and came across WSR and thought what could be better...roller skates and I get to hit people!!! With love of course! :oP What song should play when you walk into a room? Janis Joplin....Take another little piece of my heart now baby! Favourite book? It would be between The Silence of the Lambs and Stephen Kings IT. Both Great movies....but the books are so amazing.....and far more gruesome! Skirt or Shorts? Shorts....my boys need a house!

	Hermione Maimher Which famous person would you leave your partner for? Gerard Butler If a movie was made about you, who would play you? Drew Barrymore If you could have a super power what would it be? Invisability (so I can stalk Gerard without being thrown in jail hehe) Your theme song? Basket Case- Green Day How old were you when you got your first set of skates and what were they like? I was six when I found a pair of those old metal adjustable skates that went over your shoes in the garage- my dad came home to find me skating around the street. I just popped them on and off I went, skating was just a natural progression from walking :)

	Kiri How long have you been skating? I rollerbladed briefly as a kid, but started on Quads in late April 2010… I am VERY fresh meat! What kinda pet do u have... name please? Snuffy (Snufflupagus) & Chico… Fluffy, crazy little dogs What's your poison? Vodka & Soda. I have been known to order a glass of milk from the bar though… oh I love milk If you could live in any home on a television series, which would it be? Molly & Brendans house on a Country Practice! I can hear the theme song now…. What do you want to be when you grow up? Happy :)

	Lady Fairy Floss 13 Favourite Position on the track and why? I most enjoy the intensity of being Jammer, if blocking, I prefer to be close to the front of the pack. If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be? Slighly Insane What makes you angry? I can not stand liars, weather it be straight up dishonesty or fake, two-faced people... I tell it how it is, like it or not. How young were you when you got your first set of skates and what were they like? Mum had me in skates when i was 2 years old, they were pink and white "UFO" brand artistic skates, they were the smallest she could find, but still way too big I needed extra pairs of socks... I still have them now! What is your favourite outfit & shoes in your wardrobe? I have over a 100 pairs of shoes so I dont know how to choose, probably my 4" heel Tony Bianco pumps, and I am in love with tutu's I have heaps and wear them everywhere, clubbing, shopping cooking and of course skating!

	Lil' Miss Payne 57 New Members Officer Worst derby injury you have had? Right Knee --- Was having a social skate without my knee pads on, took a huge stack with a speed skater whom came across my path without notice, full pelt landing all of me on my poor little knee!! Had to get the fluid drained and 8mths later and I still cant 100% knee slide on it...Now you'll never see me with my pads off! lol Fave Motto? Carpe Diem Dream Car to own? LX SS Torana with A9X Options Biggest derby regret? Not getting my Quads on fast enough! I was always a Roller Blader since I was a little kid, never owned Quads! When Cherry started up the Team I was more then happy to help out and kept my Blades for atleast 6-8mths until finally after getting on my back daily, Cherry convinced me to put on some Quads and loved it! What kind of pet do u have... name please? A monstrous Rottweiler pup with an obsession with eating anything that fits in his mouth named Ragnar, 2 guinea pigs named SPG and Oscar, 2 rabbits named Mixo and Calici, a cockatiel named Norbert, a cat named Skitz and hundreds of fishies. How old were you when you got your first set of skates and what were they like? I was three and a half and they were the red plastic size adjustable ones that sat over your shoes. These were replaced quite quickly (thanks to my awesome Mama) with a pair of little baby white artistic skates with pink laces and pink wheels. (they were not Barbie!!!) Play any other sports? Broomball - I play defense and keeper. I guess I just like it rough…

Either Alice from Resident Evil or Leeloo from The Fifth Element How did you discover The Roller Derby League? I was lucky enough to be involved right from the very start! What kinda pet do u have... name please? I have an english bull terrier named Outlaw and a Diamond Python called Monty What song should be played when you walk into the stadium? Trouble - Pink "I'm trouble, maxxxTrouble!"

	Molly Malicious 25 Fave Motto? "Life only throws at you what you can handle" - this is true no matter how good or bad we can always handle and take on anything!! Cherish every day!!!! Favourite perfume? Chanel Coco mademoiselle - It's my fave... What is it you love to eat? Smiths chicken chips in a bowl with vinegar on them so that they are nice and soggy....Mmmmm Weird but yummy!!!! Oh and CHEESE....hehe!! How long have you been skating? Used to rollerblade when i was younger at skate plus and i loved it as for skates i have now been skating for approx 4-5 months and getting stronger and faster by the day!! Off the derby track... How do U like to chill? You will most likely find me with my friends sharing cocktails on a night out!! By day i LOVE to shop so you will find me out and about checking out SHOES...i love SHOES!!

	Nixie Ironheart How did you choose your Derby name? I looked at fairy names and liked the name Nixie, Ironheart just came into my head as I was thinking of that Playstation game Kingdom of Hearts. What weird and wacky things do you collect? Socks, tights, hats, hair pieces, fishnets and fairy statues. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? To breathe underwater, I like staying underwater for long periods of time. Skirt or shorts? Skirts Fave motto? I am, who I am, what u see is who I am. (avril lavigne)

	Pollywanna Hackher 1010 How young were u when u got your first set of skates and what were they like? I was 5 years old when I got my first pair of skates, I collected aluminium cans to pay for them, and they were the adjusted metal ones that strapped on over your shoes. Biggest derby regret? Breaking my leg in 3 places while training and now not being able to skate for approx 12-18 months. What are you reading? A book on the Snowtown murders in South Australia, the bodies found in the barrels. What weird and wacky things do you collect? As you can see above, I’m a bit of a serial killer freak. I have approximately 200 books on serial killers…. No, don’t be scared of me…. hehe What makes you angry? Not much makes me angry, although fake people probably make me angry more than anything.

	Ruby Hart 1975 Referee How did you choose your derby name? I originally had Cherry Ripe as my derby name when I was with the Auld Reekie Roller Girls in Edinburgh & being aussie it was a perfect fit! When I joined WSRD, as there was already a Cherry (our esteemed leader, Ms Atomic Cherry), I decided to relinquish the cherries & go with something that covers another fav of mine - musicals! I have red hair, so decided that the name Ruby Hart was quite apt. Dream car to own? There's a few but I would probably go with a HT Monaro as my first choice & a '57 Chev as a close second How did you discover roller derby? I actually 'discovered' it whilst watching LA Ink, where there was a derby girl getting a pic of herself blocking another player tattooed. Not long after, ARRG advertised that they were starting a league & the rest is history... What song should be played when you walk into a stadium? Evie! In dedication to my 'real' name ;-) What do you want to be when you grow up? I've been trying to grow up for the past 15 years but just haven't quite gotten there yet...

	SuziEphedrine 43 What weird and wacky things do you collect? I collect 3 things, snow domes, animal skulls (yes i did say that!) and anything Elvis. My main collection are the snow domes of which i have 88 currently. Everywhere I go, I buy a snowdome. My fave one is one from Jenolan caves, when you shake it up, instead of snow, it has little bats!! What makes you angry? Morons!!! Seriously, like those idiots who stand in front of the train doors when they open and you can't get out!! Morons!! I keep saying that i am going to make moron stickers on the computer and just slap them on peoples backs. They drive me crazy!!! How young were you when you got your first set of skates and what were they like? I was about 8 when I got some of those nasty strap ons that you wear over your shoes. Then when my mum realised I wasn't going to kill myself, I progessed to some Hang ten white boot skates at age 11 then real speed skates at 15. I frequented Bankstown roller rink a lot in the 80's. What is your favourite derby move? The hip whip!! I love the hip whip, the harder the better!! I have recently decided that the waitress is an awesome move too but I think that still needs a lot of practise. Name one thing you cannot live without. That would have to be green cordial!! I thought it was the end of my existence when they took green GI cordial off the market, it was a very sad day for me, ask my husband. I have discovered Cottees Coola though is not so bad!!!!

	Violent Princess Favourite Position on the track and why? At the moment I'm loving blocker. There's is nothing like shoving your booty in someones path and not letting them through, or hip checking them out of bounds. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? So many powers to pick just one but ...... I love to be able to hear what animals are thinking. There are so many times when i look into my dogs eyes and feel like they are trying to tell me something but i can't understand. Most of the time i think it would just be a case of love you and feed me. Dogs --- Jenna - huskie cross ? Sabre - Bulmastive cross ? What makes you angry? Liars, HATE liars it makes me very angry How young were u when u got your first set of skates and what were they like? Age 5 and my sister still has them. There blue and yellow and made of plastic, they are adjustable so you can wear your own shoes with them. The tread is gone but otherwise still in great condition. I used to take them everywhere and skate with my sister. So awesome. Off the derby track... How do U like to chill? Glass of wine and goods friends, or watching tv snuggling with my man. Do u have a creative streak? Like to think i do but i'm too lazy. What is your pre-bout psych up routine? Haven't bouted yet but.........Eye of the tiger or any power song just before training Your biggest derby supporter/fan? I would have to say my fiance cause at the moment i can buy anything for derby.

I was about 8 and my first set of wheels were a daggy pair of red strap on's. They were so NOT Xanadu - I was envious of anyone who had White Boot Skates. What's your favourite outfit & shoes in your wardrobe? All my 50's style frocks as they are tailored to fit a curvy girl, I heart ALL my heels but my fave at the moment are my Wicked Green Sequin Heels - Click Clack!!! What weird and wacky things do you collect? I collect Tintoys - which are wind up toys from the 40's, 50's & 60's. I used to have a hard and fast rule about only having windup toys made of tin but lately I have also discovered some cute plastic windup's that have snuck their way into my collection. My fav's are the Robots!! I am a discerning collector - not everything I see ends up in my collection. What is your guiltiest pleasure? Anything sweet - especially candy & indulgent desserts, & after a long day, a hot bubble bath with a good book.

Well, my Nephew recently declared that he could make the toaster produce perfectly cooked toast using just the power of his mind. I recon that sounds pretty sweet. So I’ll start there & move onto making cups of tea magically appear. (Holy Toledo Batman, I think I may have morphed into a Grandma!) Name one thing you can not live without My daughters kisses! Oh man – They’re enough to make you head to the kitchen to prepare baked goods.
